This bakery stall has been a popular stall since arriving at the market. Mick will be pleased to serve you any number of cakes, bread rolls, speciality bread loaves and savoury pastries.

Ali joined the market in 2017 and has a wide variety of greek olives, garlic, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, dried fruit, nuts and delicious turkish delight.

Ali will kindly let you try a sample if you cannot make up your mind!

John Dhesi is our longest serving market trader with over twenty years of trading in Ampthill he has seen many changes in the town.

John stocks everything you could need in the kitchen and more. Whether you need a new broom or a re-stock of your kitchen towels you are sure to find what you want at John's stall.

Dishcloths, bleach, disinfectant, de-scaler, plugs, jugs, batteries, cling film, foil, rubber gloves, washing up bowls, dusters, polish, shoe polish, insoles, steps, string, scissors, lighters, kitchen utensils and much more available.

Carol, Sue and Barry are now seasoned market traders attending with the Keech Hospice stall.

Although they are volunteers, these fund-raising supremes take their market role very seriously and regularly raise over £10,000 each year for the Keech Hospice.

They have their regular customers and donators to the stall and if you have not paid them a visit yet please come along to see the wonderful array of second hand (often new or unsed) goods they have on offer. You will find toys, a wonderful selection of books, dvd's, knitwear, jewellery, kitchenware and glassware regularly available and different items every week. Our fishmonger joined the market in January 2020 and is a welcome and very popular addition.

Richard puts out a colourful display of children's books and advent calendars and with lots of different designs to choose from we are sure you will find just what you are looking for whether for your own little ones or as a present. If you are looking for something in particular speak to Richard.

Richard has started an Usborne Children's Book Exchange, where customers can bring unwanted, good quality old Usborne books and get money off new Usborne books. This can either be in person from Richard's stall on the Thursday market or via ordering directly through him.

Doggy Treats UK is an Ampthill based family company who are passionate about dogs and improving our dogs health using natural products from British farmers.

Barb and Alfie, the owners, are big dog lovers with two beautiful rehomed dogs. They started to use natural, no chemical or processed food for their dogs after rehoming a very poorly abused little terrier.

They were surprised by the improvements in Roxy's health and especially her teeth after using natural treats.
Barb and Alfie were so passionate about the benefits of natural British treats they wanted to share their knowledge, experience and natural treats with all dog lovers.

Doggy Treats Uk started to share their treats at pop up shops & markets which they absolutely love. Meeting so many dogs each day brings them so much joy & happiness. They have built many valuable relationships with beautiful dogs and their owners.
They are always at Ampthill market on a Thursday. An online shop is also available for customers to order treats with an option for local home delivery for only £1.

Doggy treats website includes subscription treat boxes, build your own treat box and a virtual market, which are so convenient for their customers, especially with busy lives. They would love to meet you and your dogs on a Thursday.

Yvonne knows her cheese! Come along and browse her selection of cheeses at the Ampthill Charter Market, held in the town centre car park every Thursday between 8.00am to 2.00pm. 

Anita and Anuj of Jain Fashions joined the market in April 2023 with their elegant range of women's clothing.
